What is Holisitic Food?

It is the food that hails from the past that research has now discovered has a purpose. It is the understanding that the unique flavours found in our favourite foods like garlic, olive oil, blueberries, cinnamon or vanilla are the parts that heal and provide us with valuable phytonutrients. It's the realization that how we grow the food and prepare the food are the key to maximizing both the power of the phytonutrients and the flavours they represent. In other words, flavour heals.

When is eating and drinking good for you?

When the food and drink is made traditionally as it was in past by our ancestors.

What did our ancestors know?

Research has now confirmed that the foods they ate, and the way they grew and prepared the foods, maximized the healing properties of food, thrilling the taste buds as well as the body.

Join the discussion we want to have with the world and enjoy your love of food

What's New

Did you know that vanilla extract was added to ice cream because it contains a natural appetite suppressant? In the 19th century, ice cream was very expensive to make so pure vanilla was added to curb the demand. But what good news for us. By adding pure vanilla to our food, and it has to be pure, we can eat the foods we love and the vanilla will help us only consume some, not all of it. Research has shown that even the smell of vanilla can curb the appetite.

Food Tip

Eat small meals throughout the day and take time to savour the flavour. Make every calorie count. The richer the flavour in whole foods means there is a higher phytonutrient content. More flavour also means we will be more satisfied for longer periods of time and have less cravings.
